Dunn Bros Coffee Is Done

The North Aurora location of St.Paul, Minnesota-based Dunn Bros Coffee is closed for business, according to "Friend Of The Voice" Ken F. He reported seeing a sign this past weekend posted on the window of the store, located across Orchard Road from the North Aurora Auto Mall, indicating that they were no longer serving lattes.

The shop opened in September 2008 and not only offered fresh-roasted coffee, but a solid calendar of musical acts. The Voice did stop in once for a performance by the Virtual Jazz Quartet (virtual because there were only two of them), pictured in this post. We came in late, so we had to sit underneath their music stands.

We are saddened by the loss of a local shop. Here's hoping that we can look forward to more openings than closings in the near future.
