Record Store Day (Kiss The Sky)

Last month we wrote about music legend Pat DiNizio's in-store appearance at Kiss The Sky.

All day this Saturday, April 18, Steve and the rest of the gang at GQ's favorite record store will be celebrating, appropriately enough, Record Store Day.

We'll let the Kiss The Sky website take it from here:

Over a thousand independent stores will be joined together in this celebration inviting you, our loyal customers, to come and hang out and join in the festivities. Each store will be celebrating in a manner befitting them. We are going to be offering free food and drink ... the food is being provided by our good friends, RJ's Deli, which is located just a few blocks east of us ... our plans are to have Smash Corps, winners of The Next Great Metal Band contest here at Kiss The Sky, perform an acoustic set during the afternoon.

Other activities include turntable giveaways and limited releases provided exclusively to shops celebrating Record Store Day.
