Saturday Is Free Comic Book Day

Little Voice loves comic books. In fact, when we go to the grocery store all we need to do is give him one new comic book and he'll spend the rest of the trip lounging on the lower level of the cart perusing the latest addition to his collection with nary a peep.

Sure it's difficult to keep up with all of the characters. (Daddy, what's the name of the blue guy with the lizard tail?) But it's teaching him a couple of very important skills: (1) How to read and (2) How to teleport to different areas of the house.

So imagine how excited he's going to be when we tell him that this Saturday, May 2, is Free Comic Book Day. We are going to pay a visit to our friendly neighborhood comic shop, Graham Crackers Comics, on Randall Road in St. Charles. I'm going to talk to the guys to get their opinion about a new comic based on my own superpower: the uncanny ability to catch things in midair that fall unexpectedly.
