Geneva Green Market Opening Day

Would you enjoy standing eye-to-eye with the person strong enough to grow your spinach? Care to chew the fat with a real milkman? Want to shake hands with somebody who literally brings home the bacon?

Beginning Thursday, June 4, and continuing every Thursday until October 29, the Geneva Green Market will be offering locally grown, fresh, healthy fruit, veggies, cheese, and other "minimally processed produce and products" from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. The market is located at 75 North River Lane.

Also planned for June 4: A Chef Demo featuring Jennifer Downing of Nourish, who will focus on spring lettuces for inspiring salads; and a Kids Corner presented by Heritage Prairie Farm, where they will "talk about the joys of chicken raising and show off some of the best breeds."
