Geneva Arts Fair 2009

The forecast is sunny with a chance of watercolors this Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, in scenic downtown Geneva. That's where the 8th Annual Geneva Arts Fair will be taking place for all to enjoy from 10am to 5pm each day.

As the Geneva Arts Fair website says,

Voted “Best Craft or Art Show” in 2008 by West Suburban Living magazine, the Geneva Arts Fair will showcase over 140 artists from around the country. Art mediums include photography, pottery, fiber, printmaking, glass, mixed media, watercolor, oil/acrylic, wood, sculpture and jewelry.

There will be a Kids Art Area with hands-on activities for the younguns. And, best of all, it won't cost you a dime to walk around and appreciate all of the art on display. Unless you want to take some home. So bring your pocketbook just in case you see a piece that would totally bring out the avocado green in your favorite recliner.
