Art In Your Eye 2009 (Batavia)

The 2009 version of Batavia's Art In Your Eye Fine Art Show and Festival takes place at the Batavia Riverwalk on Saturday, August 8, from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, August 9, from 10am to 4pm. And, as the Art In Your Eye website states, "The festival will take place, rain or shine." No jokes about watercolors, please.

There will be no shortage of art on display from artists both local and national. The City Hall Exhibit is "a juried exhibit featuring the work of local artists in a variety of media." There is also an Outdoor Fine Art Show featuring the work of over 75 artists from all over the country in categories including: Acrylic, Ceramics, Glass, Fiber, Jewelry, Oil, Pastel, Photography, Sculpture, Wood, Metalworks, Furniture, and, um, Watercolor.

Your eyes won't be the only beneficiaries of the weekend's festivities. Be sure to enjoy some Art In Your Ear, thanks to the following musical acts:
