Wayne Newton At The Arcada (St. Charles)

You gotta hand it to Ron Onesti and the rest of the folks at The Arcada Theatre in St. Charles. They sure are working hard to bring in the heavy hitters. A couple weeks ago Jerry Lewis graced their stage, and now Wayne Newton will be performing on Sunday, June 14, at 5:00 pm.

Mr. Las Vegas is of course a legend in the entertainment industry, having started his musical career as a child over sixty years ago. (!) But we'll always cherish his tour de force as the bad guy in The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990) alongside a mild-mannered Andrew 'Dice' Clay.
